Wednesday Evenings 18-00-19-00 (School Term Time)

 The Beaver Section is for our youngest members, usually aged between 6 and 8, however you can join up to 3 months prior to your 6th birthday and may stay until they are 8½  years old. The Beaver Section is the first section in Scouting.

Earl Shilton Beaver Activities
Roo, Ratty and JJ put an emphasis on fun, Beaver activities include games, sleepovers, arts & crafts, acting, singing, themed nights, basic cooking & entry level camp skills. As well as visits to places of fun and interest both local and further afield. Recent Trips out include Twinlakes, Coventry Motor Museum, Hinckley Police Station & Burbage Common.
 
 

Badges/Awards
Beavers are introduced the concept of working towards awards and badges and there is a wide variety of badges available to encourage their development and participation. Recent badges awarded for I.C.T(computer Skills), Art Skills, Cooking.

Uniform
Turquoise sweatshirt and group neckerchief (awarded on invesiture).
